Democracy - Democracy, in modern usage, has three senses - all for a system of government where the citizens exercise power by voting. This is a google translations but democracy is a government with a group, so the citizens are in a group not following one person. 

Chocolate Cupcakes

On Tuesday, My class was assigned to make chocolate cupcakes with sauce. All we had to do was mix Self raising flour, Sugar, Eggs, oil, milk, coco and combine.  We then put our mixtures in the oven and waited around 15 - 20 minutes to bake. After the we placed the on the tray and spread chocolate sauce on it. Then Wah lah yummy chocolate cupcakes!!!!!!!

How to make Cupcakes

Dry Ingredients 

*1 1/2 cup of S.R.F - Step 1, Pour your S.R.F in a big bowl

*1/3 cup of Sugar - Next pour your sugar in the bowl and whisk it together

Wet Ingredients

*1 cup Milk - Now in a separate bowl pour you Milk in it.

*1/4 cup of oil, Then tip your oil in and add food colouring 

*2 drops of Food Colouring - and add food colouring.

Now put your batter into muffin tins and place the tray into the preheated oven, at 180c.

Then simply take it out and place it in on a cooling rack.

Pasta Salad

How to make Pasta Salad

Ingredients

* Pasta

* Diced Ham

* 1 Diced Tomato 

* 1 Diced Onion 

* Mayo 

Steps

* First Put your water and pasta in a pot, wait for the pasta to be cooked 

and then strain it. ( Leave to the side to cool)

* Fry your onions until caramelized

* Then place your Ham and also cook until caramelized 

* After that mix you Tomatoes, Onions, Ham, and pasta together.

* After it is mixed well, add mayo for extra flavoring 

* Also you may add Salt and Pepper

My Thoughts/Opinion

Today, A man and lady from the Tamaki Regeneration Company, by the name of Sarah and Glen came to Room 7 at Glenbrae to talk about all the new homes in Glen Innes and the building process.
Sarah and Glen talked about what kind of Insulation there is, about the unit, what they do to construct the houses, how everything happens and ect.

Then 3 students modelled what constructors wear when they building, They modelled a dust mask, vest, a tool belt, helmet, Ear Puffs, and ect. We also got to ask a few questions about the layout, windows, rooms, materials and other.

For me I think we had an amazing opportunity to speak to these people, because I think kids should also know what is happening around our community and because it's also cool to be updated.
